In 2020, GI Partners, a leading private investment firm, made a majority investment in the company. The GI Partners team brings deep investment experience in the industry along with operational and technological expertise and provides substantial opportunities for ARS’s employees and enhancement of ARS’s customer experience. Founded in 2001, GI Partners is a private investment firm based in San Francisco, California. The firm has raised over $23 billion in capital from leading institutional investors around the world to invest in private equity, real estate, and data infrastructure strategies. Existing investors, Charlesbank Capital Partners (Charlesbank), and ARS management continue to make significant new investments in the business.

ARS/Rescue Rooter and its network of brands provide air conditioning, heating, indoor air quality, plumbing, drain cleaning, sewer line, and smart home services from company-owned locations across the United States.
Since 2006, ARS/Rescue Rooter has operated with a “Be National, Act Local” philosophy.
Be National: Corporate oversight and professional development are exercised primarily through Division management. Local service centers benefit from strategic national and corporate level partnerships with key suppliers and retailers, such as Home Depot, Lowe’s, Costco, Google, Carrier, Rheem, Lennox, Goodman, Ferguson, Watsco, and EnerBank.
Act Local: Each local service center has the flexibility to customize its strategy to local market pricing, purchasing, promotional, and staffing conditions and decisions. General Managers proactively explore market-specific opportunities for revenue enhancement and increased profitability.

It is critical to ARS/Rescue Rooter to help younger generations succeed and thrive. Many ARS/Rescue Rooter-supported programs and nonprofits nurture positive values in providing youth an environment to grow, learn, lead healthy lifestyles, and further their education. We are passionate about collaborating with organizations that help and support people who face adversities such as special needs or severe health conditions that often begin at a young age. ARS/Rescue Rooter is a proud supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital,the Tim Tebow Foundation, and various organizations that support children and their families.
VETERAN OUTREACH
ARS/Rescue Rooter understands the commitment active military and veterans make for our country, and we made honoring and supporting veterans a priority. Through our volunteer work and support of veterans’ agencies nationwide, such as Alpha Omega Veterans Services and the American Red Cross, ARS/Rescue Rooter shows its appreciation for our veterans and active military. Additionally, ARS is committed to hiring veterans across our nationwide network.

Athletics is a great way to promote fellowship in our communities. ARS CARES
The ARS Cares Program was established in 2016 to provide those suffering withoutheat and air conditioning in our communities a free HVAC system or water heater. Since 2020, ARS/Rescue Rooter has expanded the ARS Cares program to honor healthcare professionals, military veterans, and community heroes. Since its inception, 310 home services makeovers have been completed, valued at more than $2.5 million to deserving recipients in the communities we are proud to serve.
