American Residential Services (ARS), a Memphis, Tenn. based, privately-held national provider of air conditioning, heating and plumbing services, announces the promotion of Joe Brown to position of Vice President – Texas Division.
Joe joined ARS in July 2011 as the Director of Internal Audit where he created and organized the department. In 2014, Joe took on a dual role as the Texas Division Controller while also continuing to serve in the position of Director of Internal Audit. In his role as the Texas Division Controller, Joe was very instrumental in improving gross margins and the financial performance of the Texas Division.
In March 2016, Joe was promoted to the position of Operations Manager for the Texas Division, and his direction has garnered success and growth for the Texas Division under his leadership.
Joe received his Bachelor in Accounting from Mississippi State University.
Joe resides in Germantown, TN, with his family.
